I sent my bro off to NS yesterday. Since it was the compulsory 2 weeks BMT thingy, so we went to Pulau Tekong. Their training facilities are like O_O super new and updated. When I saw their obstacles course, I seriously wanted to try it out, looks so challenging and fun. And then they have swimming pools and the gym their equipments are seriously maintained really well. The conditions are actually much better than I expected. They also had one of the army guy to show us all the equipments that the recruits have in their auditorium. The guy was actually really funny, his talk was really engaging. If only other speakers could be like that too. He has a great sense of humor, so it was pretty fun.

At that time, I often wondered why was I enjoying myself that much, but I supposed it hadn't dawned on me at then that my bro would be away for 2 whole weeks. When he finally left with the rest of the company, I suppose it was about that time that it finally hit me. I mean, it hadn't quite affected me before when he went on camps. It might be because this time it's 2 whole weeks of intensive training for him and I only get to see him on and off on weekends for the next 2 years. It might take some getting used to. It is kinda like feeling I have been so dependant on him all these years and then suddenly having him go for NS for 2 years, it makes me feel kind of lost without someone to depend and guide me along. It'll feel kinda lonely at times and he wouldn't be there to help me on my homework and projects. Until now, it still feels kinda surreal, that I wouldn't be seeing my bro for such a long period of time. So maybe it is about time that I learn to be independent and handle things myself. Maybe I'll fall at times, but it doesn't mean I'll break. We'll just have to see what happens in these 2 years.

p.s. He better not see this or I'll never hear the end of it XD

AoR Concert 2009

just came back from the concert. it was seriously super fun and a great experience. my group was kinda more reserved, but i still had fun. at least we didn't have any major screw-ups, which is good. and the other groups, some of the vocalists were great. especially the girl that sang "summer of '69". gosh, her voice is like "wow!". but there were some vocalists that were quite terok, but at least was entertaining. there was a young boy that singing almost made me facepalm, but it was funny at the parts that he started taking off his scarf and jacket. i was totally like "wtf?!". and there was also this super gay guy. his hand movements are so gay i can't stand it. it's totally like the ones that takaki did in the "hey say" pv. but at least takaki is good-looking, so it's not that bad. but that guy is NOT and he did all those gay movements that were like O_O'''. but i suppose he deserves credit for the entertainment value at least.

the best performance of the night was obviously the teachers performance. cause after the last student band, all the students were shouting encore. then the vocalist of the last band was like "encore who?", so everyone shouted "TEACHERS!!" it kinda went on for a couple of minutes, including the teachers trying, although not really needed, to get everyone high. it was super concert-like, like almost if not all of the students ran to in front of the stage and jumping around and stuff. the teachers are really super zai, the solos and stuff. luth's voice is damn good, and (ok, kinda unnecessary but) i thought luth seriously looks damn hot. i was kinda close to fangirling, but that's beside the point. point is, THE TEACHERS ARE PWN!! luth's voice is total love. and zainal was so funny. it was like the end of the concert, and we were singing happy birthday to luth since it's his birthday, then zainal just flashed a "MARRY ME" board in luth's face. i dunno who made the board though, not important. and luth looked like he was going to cry (nothing to do with the "MARRY ME" board).

yepp, so the concert was a great success. there were some screwed up groups, but also some great ones. but overall, i still think the teachers one was the best (duh).

Ryuusei no Kizuna

RYUUSEI NO KIZUNA IS SUPER NICE!! NINO!!

RYO!!!

ryuusei is super nice. nino and ryo's acting are so good. and the plot is seriously complete, like no loose ends or anything.

nino's acting is damn zai. like when he's in his pitiful mode, just makes you wanna go glomp guy. and ryo and erika's reaction to his pitiful mode is also so funny. then when nino gets angry and shouts, it's really SHOCK! super scary. totally different person and aura. and when he's silently angry, he doesn't burst out, but his eyes are so intent and are the kind that you know there is definitely something wrong and you know you really shouldn't offend him any further. super good, his acting. the aura and looks and all that are so real. and he can cry without blinking, the tears just keep falling, and his eyes will also become abit red. seriously, how many people can actually do that?

and ryo-chan. in the photoshoots and all that he looks so oyaji, but when you watch, it's totally different. his character is so genki and funny, always going to cabaret clubs. plus his charactor works in this shop that sells porn. O_O but when he gets all worked up, he seriously looks so intimidating. (don't mention his height) but he seriously looks like he will beat the person up like crap. then when he and shii(erika) are swindlers, his roles are always so comical.

and also erika. her character is totally not annoying. in fact, kinda cool. and the name is quite nice. shizuna, aka shii. erika looks damn good in lolita. super chio and cute. and the child version of her is also super cute. and even though she likes that annoying guy that goes hayashi rice, he's really nice also and helps to catch the real criminal, somewhat.

but that post-it guy is soooooo annoying. he totally has he face that you don't even need to watch to know he's an irritating guy and totally makes you want to punch him in the face. but there was this part that is so amusing. whenever that togami guy asks for hayashi rice, nino always tells him "it's sold out". even on the ariake opening day. the look on togami's face is so funny. but i still like it best when the three ariake siblings are acting together.

just finished watching Maou like half an hour ago and i'm so gonna start fangirling now.

MAOU IS TOTAL PWN!! OHNO & IKUTA WERE

DAMN ZAI IT'S FRIGGIN FABULOUS!!!

the plot itself is super good. if say you don't understand the story from ep1 then will find it boring, but then once understand le it's seriously super good. the murder methods and stuff like that, like how ohno instigates the murders without any form of interaction with the murderers and victims is damn zai.

plus the last 2 eps were the best. like in the show whenever ohno says stuff like he doesn't deserved to be loved or he can't be saved, stuff like that, it's so touching and makes me totally go "OH-CHAN! KYAA~~". but then the last 2eps are totally pwn. it's so good and super touching, i seriously cried. like i can count how many shows i actually cried with both hands, and this was definitely the one i cried the most. like from the part that ohno and ikuta meets up and all the confession and kill me stuff until the part that shiori found both of them dead was so sad i was crying the whole time.

but then it's also sort of considered fanservice, like the part that ikuta was dying and gripping ohno's hand and how scared ohno was, and also the part that the end when ohno was lying on ikuta's shoulders when he died. it totally screamed fanservice. usually it's like kind of a weird pairing, but then at that scene it's just so sweet and heartwrenching you can't not love it.

ok.. fangirling over.. for now, at least.

Gokusen 2

just finished Gokusen 2 and damn.. it's better than Gokusen 3. it's not just ryu (kame) and hayato (jin). there's also take (teppei) and tsucchi (hayami). the akame is so obvious that it's practically staring you in the face. plus teppei is so cute, not just cause he's a little short, but really, really cute. and hayami when i first saw him, it was like he sure is friggin TALL.

the show has more plot than gokusen 3 and also it's almost the whole show is centered around ryu, hayato, take, tsucchi and hyuuga (keisuke). the scenes that like ryu and hayato cries are always so touching. dang~ kame and jin's acting skills are really good. but if only there was a scene that ryu amd hayato would hug, then it'll totally be AKAME!! and the button up that ryu wore outside of his school uniform, it was just screaming kame hotness. plus the scene that hayato (and friends) "rescue" ryu(-hime) was just really sweet. not to mention ryu was standing on a balcony.

and even more than the cast of gokusen 3, the ones from gokusen 2 are even more attractive a bunch of people. kame was friggin hot, jin was being bakanishi and teppei was sooooooo ccuuuuuuuteee. mahh.. it's the second time i'm saying this, but i still really wish i had a bunch of friends like that, to be able to have fun and rebel together..

actually i kinda thought of it for a long time. it's kind of obvious i lost all motivation to spam anymore. plus so many new spammers that to me are just so annoying. so it really wasn't surprising that i would quit the forum. and anyway i think that spending time watching dramas and concert lives are more useful than sitting in front of the computer spamming with people who give meaningless spam, i'm not referring to old spammers like kioku, ra-chan, even and jkprock of course. it's the newer ones. but after all, i'm staying off forum, so good luck to those still spamming, i hope your blood pressure doesn't go too high. XD

grahh... i'm friggin pissed now. what's the prob with the forum!!! the people who dare to call themselves spammers are NOT spammers at all. i see all their posts and i just wanna strangle them. gosh! like 90% of their posts are the SAME thing. it's definitely a copy and paste kind of thing. and they dare to claim that they're spammers. it's like totally insulting. esp to me, hl, even and ra-chan.

i think i probably won't be returning to spam the forum le, unless hl spams as well. i'll just get more pissed off if i have to look at the threads one more time.

Gokusen 3

just finished the entire series of Gokusen 3. it's pretty nice, and quite funny too. especially when Yankumi always appear with her extra dramatic entrances. and 3D really can't go one episode without running as a class, but it's a pretty nice sight to see actually. and seeing them fight every episode is also entertaining, if only Yankumi wasn't so invincible, but ohh wells, it isn't half as bad. and believe it or not, they all can still look so hot and cool with all that injuries.

takaki yuya as ogata yamato. he really looks so hot in there. and with his very calm and collected character, it's really lovable. and he's always so calm even when the entire class is getting real excited about stuff, especially girls. i was fangirling over him almost every episode. and he looks so cool when fighting and really funny when he and the rest are just fooling around.

haruma miura as kazama ren. he's a really cool character, but also so goofy at the same time. when he makes silly faces, you really can't help thinking he's such a fun person. and his hair is so cool. his half is like half clipped up and the other side and the bottom are highlighted, making him look really cool.

3D at the surface seems like such a scary class, but in actual fact turned out to be such a goofy class, especially when they go all girl-crazy and they'll be real excited. but they are also so bonded, always fighting to stand up for one another. it's so nice to see ren always get the most worked up when yamato is in danger, and also the same for yamato when ren is in danger.

seriously, when i was watching, i keep thinking how nice it was if i could be in a class like that, so bonded, to fight together and fool around together. and how nice if i could have a bunch of really close friends like yamato with ren, ichi, honjo, kura and kamiya. to be able to hang out together everyday and have fun, spend time together and just share everything. but then again, life is never so kind, if only i could be as carefree as any of the six of them are, to not have to worry of so much, about school, about results and stuff like that. really, if only i could be like yamato or ren, but still...

in any case, TAKAKI & MIURA ARE SIMPLY TO HOT TO PASS ON ^_^

B1三月: i was just like she should simply stick to chinese. but anyway her voice is kinda unique i guess, but the performance wasn't all that impressive. but the arrangement of the song was pretty good actually, just i suppose she couldn't bring it out as well.

B2兔子: they were just horrid can.. the drummer was like singing with her 假音which is so friggin obvious. then the lead vocals was like OMG i can't imagine how they got so far. image? maybe bahh.. but in terms of singing skills, they suck big time. maybe this time their voice were i little less than flat, but i still can't stand it. and the drummer is NOT zai.

B3Screamm: they were ok i suppose. the first thing i noticed was the pre-performance video. the bassist actually highlighted his hair PINK!! then was they're all wearing GOLD! but one thing is i couldn't quite hear what the vocalist was singing/rapping during the fast song. and she went offtune for a few notes. but overall was ok i suppose.

B4大风吹: i was quite wowed by their performance. OMG the drummer is zai la. she can rap while drumming and it didn't even go offbeat. that's what i call pro, not that tuzi's drummer, that sings flat. but anw DFC the drummer seriously good la. it's hard to rap that fast, add on the drumming. the vocalist also quite good, but i never get why his pronunciation while singing versus when talking is so different. when talking he sounds like he was wearing retainers.

B5异世界: theirs was the best mann.. it was damn cool la. haha.. kunio's chinese is finally 听得懂. 70%, improve alot from the last time le la. kei and sam's voice are so nice when put together ^_^ the headbang part is the best actually. after the headbang, i was like "woah..kunio's hair still can stay in place arhh??" it's damn pro la. i bet he used plenty of hairspray. reminds me of ruki's chicken head hair. headbang dunno how much also not a strand out of place de.

B6伍个人: actually i thought they were quite good, dunno why the judges so critical of them..but the drummer and violinist quite good lehh.. actually i still can't forget the prank that hiroshi played on the bassist. so funny la he. mastermind the whole thing still deny.

yay!! but ethe'Real's performance so exciting today.. i wanna rewatch!!! thank goodness they got into finals, if not i'll just stop watching the whole competition entirely.. I WANNA GO FINALS!! why must the damn finals be on the same week as our exams *cries* one more week then i can go watch mahh....

OMG!!!! SF2 was so seriously screwed i could strangle practically ALL of them, ok except maybe a few bands. like what is the freaking problem with their pronunciations??? if they're gonna perform a jap/korean song, the least they could do was get the pronunciation right!!!

B1大风吹: omg!! what the hell is with his jap??? it's sounds totally not jap. when he sang chinese it was ok, i understand, but hell..the moment he sang jap i was like "wth is he singing??" i definitely wouldn't have thought it was jap if it wasn't for the romanji lyrics

B2伍个人: they were generally not bad la. i think they deserve the judges top 3. but i just can't get his jap pronunciation errors out of my head. kokoro becomes kokoru(?!!) it's just plain comical to listen to it.

B3森林帖: goshh... their jap officially suck big time. granted the vocalist has a really nice voice and the most consistent in the whole competition, but he should seriously do something about the pronunciation when he's singing another lang's song. what's with anata turning into anana?? and yasashisa becoming yasashise?? it just downright doesn't make sense. esp the anata!!!

B4异世界: i swear it's the only band of the night that can speak jap without errors, ok maybe one or two, but not obvious. but the jap is so much evidently better than ALL the rest. haha and i get the feeling that Kunio would have cut the chinese part out entirely if not for the requirements, like it's so obvious since only they sang 4 lines of chinese and the rest in jap, so it's like 70-80% of the song was in jap. but then, WHAT'S WITH THE GAYNESS OF THE GOLD PANTS!!! it's practically like the one that syou wore in cosmic world, skinny pants and GOLD!!! plus all that bling bling -continue later at special paragraph below-

B5兔子: i'm so gonna flame them to the depths of hell mann.. their korean pronunciation is downright horrid. although i don't like korean language since i think they sound crude, but i'v listened enough to at least be able to tell that their pronunciation is definitely not korean, in fact they sounded like they're singing thai. and even if i don't, looking at the subs, their pronunciation more than deviate from the original. in fact, it's not even close. and would people friggin stop praising that drummer!! she's definitely not as good as everybody think. so what if she can sing while playing the drums? kai from gazette does that too, he does backup and there are no errors even while all that high difficulty drumbeats. and i bet nao can definitely do that too. so she's only that much, what's with praising her so much. and if anybody think they can sing, i'd say they definitely can't. if you were to listen carefully, they only sound like they're singing cause they have the rhythm from the instruments. minus of the intruments their singing is just FLAT!!!

B6Screamm: if really have to say i don't think have much since they did pretty well tonight. just the vocalist voice range abit small. but somehow when she was singing, i thought she was singing spanish sometimes, esp when she sings the part "maria~, ave maria~" it's seriously sounds spanish. but it doesn't sound as destroyed as 兔子. at least their pronunciation more or less kept to the subs.

B7三月: that band can just go burn from their performance tonight. they totally screwed up and it makes me more than pissed since 1. it's a NANA(!!!) song, 2. it's a Yuna Ito's song and 3. it's ENDLESS STORY(!!!) one of my fav from the NANA series. and she dared screw it up that badly. her pronunciation is simply over the roof. nara ieru somehow became nara nieru?? tsuyogaru became suyogaru! tsukareta became zukareta!! i don't even want to point out the rest. it's like error-filled, at least 3-4 from each line. like what the hell??!! get your pronunciation right before you even come to perform

the judges choice are just O_O"'. like HUH?! 伍个人 still can understand la, since their jap still not screwed until that bad. 森林帖 maybe on the vocalist voice, but 大风吹??? where did that come from?? and what happened to the comment that Screamm is probably the only rival to 异世界 tonight?? where do the 2 of them go in the top3 listing?

but tonight's result show dunno to say scary or what? why the hell is 异世界 and 森林帖 at the bottom 2?? i may not be a hard-core fan of 森林帖, but i still admire them and stuff. nande? nande? why them???? but 异世界 should seriously learn not to give people heart attack like that. it's like the 3rd(?) time that they somehow ended up as bottom few.

okk now onto more spirit-lifting topic. 异世界's clothes just spells GAYNESS!! GOLD PANTS!! GOLD ACCESSORIES!! it's all bling bling and eye-catching and stuff. but it just reminds people of syou and his cosmic world clothes. haha but as usual Kei looks the nicest la. Kunio also pretty eye-catching too. Sam wouldn't probably have looked better if his outfit wasn't so buttoned-up. then somehow Jun looked kinda haggard and Nuh just looks normal.

yays! SF1 today. i was seriously looking forward to it. and to say the least, quite a few bands fell short of my expectations.

B1 Screamm (孙悟空): they probably chose a wrong song, cause the vocalist can't bring out the feel of the song. in fact, i think lucify did a much better rendition of the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXURdH-gMxs
B2 森林帖（温柔）: yay! as usual they did really well. i liked the vocalists voice. XD jys
B3 三月（爱情万岁）： the vocalist seriously has pretty strong vocals for a female. but pity her range is not all that wide, if not would have been much better. but i suppose that would also be a "special" point to her bahh..
B4 CStar （天使）: rawr... they totally ruined the song. and to think that song was one of my favourite 五月天 songs. they can't sing for nuts and their 合音 suck big time. thank goodness they were eliminated. i didn't think i would be able to stand another such performance, especially not when it's already SF.
B5 异世界（离开地球表面）: haha.. i'm seriously biased, so i shall leave a paragraph specially for ethe'Real. ^_^
B6 伍个人（倔强）： i didn't expected such a performance from them anw. it was kinda messy, true that everybody were on different tempos. i wonder is it cause they very nervous cause they just came back from revival. but luckily they didn't kena kicked out. as usual, the violinist is impressive.
B7 大风吹（听不到）： they were ok i suppose. i liked the vocalist's performance, but maybe they shouldn't have the guitarists and bassist all doing the 合音. i suppose it gets kinda messy and not as nice as it should have.
B8 兔子（终结孤单）： i just have one thing to comment. the drummer maybe pro to be able to sing and hit the drums at the same time, but take note that the tempo wasn't all that complicated anw. i bet Nao or Kai can do it too and at a much higher level drumming. and they seriously should stop singing with such heavy 鼻音. it gets uncomfortable on the ears.

okies. end of general comments for the bands. now for the special: Ethe'Real!!!

YESSU!!! they got through again, which means jap songs, hopefully, next round. *cheers*
haha.. all of them so eyecatching. the first thing i saw as a band was...cowboy/wild west look.. lols. and then individually was definitely Kenn. ^^ haha.. first impression was "Woah!! he's not wearing a cap". then next came "the hell??!! he looks so much like Hiroto, just a taller version (ooppss sry hiroto, but you are quite short for a guy). and that means like chio-ness(better pray kei don't strangle me for saying he's chio)." then throughout the performance i was like how the hell did i never realise that kei actually has features that are similar to Hiroto. the front view was already quite like Hiroto, but the side view was like seeing Hiroto O_O. ok.. i suppose that's enough talking about Hiroto-likeness.
but kunio screwed up big time la. i probably wouldn't have been able to make out quite a number of words if i hadn't heard the song before. haha and no offense but kunio should seriously buck up on his chinese. the front part sounded kinda awkward, like some non-chinese person talking. but today's 合声 wasn't exactly all that good. it wasn't that obvious, like couldn't really hear uncle sam. but kei's was nice though. when i heard his part was like "ehh??? uncle sings high notes meh??" then i saw the mic at kei's side then was "ohh... so it was kei.. haha anw very nice".

yuppss so just hope Ethe'Real can do much better the next round, which is FOREIGN LANG!!! YAY!! ohh oppps... i realised i didn't comment on jun and nuh at all... :P.. not my fault, i was too busy deciphering kunio's singing and looking at how much kenn looks like hiroto.

ok.. now for the Hiroto look-alike comparison. okk..maybe not the best pictures to be used for comparison, but those who follows alice nine. should get what i mean.

RAWR.. i so wanna kill my compter now. it's been shutting down on me like 5 times in a row now. and in like half an hour?? that like seriously sucks la. so now i have to use my bro's laptop if not i seriously will attempt smashing my comp.

but anyway, i had drill test today. O_O i didn't feel like going initially. i mean, come on la. who in their right minds would want to wake up at 6am just to go to some school in serangoon for a drill test. definitely not me at least, but i suppose i not all that sane, so i still went =.=

but at least it was quite fun la. as in not the test itself, but the entire thing. cause for like uniform and stuff we have to be real neat and stuff, so there was this frenzy of using plenty of hairsprays to keep all the hair in place. my hair was kinda screwed up la, cause i have like a lot of baby hair after i tie up, so i had to use ALOT of hairpins and hairsprays. i think i kinda set the record, since i used like 10haipins O_O. but it was still really screwed up, so i ended up retying and at least i managed to use 3 less hairpins. *applauds* -.- but at least it looked much neater after retying.

the only really irritating thing is that we had to meet at 7am, and the actual stage 1 drill only started at 8.30am. then since i was taking stage2, i had to wait for stage 1s to finish. so stage 2 only started at about 10am. but thankfully the entire test was real short. i was only about 45mins. but kinda stupid la, cause we went there for 4hrs just for a 45mins test. ohh well..things you do for a badge.

so now that that's over, i seriously need to concentrate on doing homework, if not i'll really DIE on monday. shall chant to myself homework over and over again, if not i sure will procrastinate de. darn..the attraction of computers. T_T
